Repeater report by W2CD and KB2RLH: the W2LZ repeater does not appear to have any gain. It was further reported that the repeater and duplexer will be checked out by a technician in Oneonta the week of June 8. Appropriate instruments will be used to make a thorough check of the equipment. Following repair or adjustments, the repeater may be relocated to another location for coverage testing.
Apparently, the 146.955 MHz repeater has not been operational and needs repair. There may also be some antenna problems associated with its poor performance. Therefore, the Wednesday night net may be shifted to the Stamford (145.23 MHz) repeater or to the Oneonta (146.85 MHz) repeater.
